January Prize Draw Terms & Conditions – January 2023

These terms and conditions are the rules which apply to this Prize Draw. By submitting an entry, entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by them.

Promoter

  1. January prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is organised by Hutchison 3G UK Limited, 450 Longwater Avenue, Green Park, Reading, Berkshire RG2 6GF (“Three” or “We”). The Prizes are (as defined at paragraph 6 below) administered and provided by Three.

Dates

  1. The Prize Draw opens on 01/01/2023 at 00:01 and closes on 31/01/2023 at 23:59.

Eligibility

  1. To be eligible to enter the Prize Draw entrants must be a customer of Three and a registered user of the Three App (“Eligible Entrants”). This Prize Draw is not open to employees of Three, its agents, contractors, consultants, or anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Entry

  1. To enter the Prize Draw, Eligible Entrants must open the Three app during January and enter the January prize draw in the notifications area, by clicking on the call to action: “Enter now” (“Qualifying Entries”).

Rules

  1. The following rules shall also apply to the Prize Draw:

a. Only one entry per Eligible Entrant will be considered by Three and entered into the Prize Draw. Multiple entries will render all entries made by that person void.

  b. Late entries will not be taken into consideration in winner selection.

  c. Three reserves the right to exclude and/or disqualify any entry which it deems, in its sole and absolute discretion: (i) to be offensive or inappropriate; (ii) fails to comply with these terms and conditions; and/or (iii) to be contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.

Prize

  1. 10 separate winners will each receive £100 credit (the “Prize”) to the mobile phone number account used to log into the Three app when entering this Prize Draw. Only one Prize per winner will be awarded. Prize allocation remains at Three’s sole and absolute discretion.

Selection of winners

  1. The winners will be randomly selected using a random number generator. 10 numbers from all Qualifying Entries will be randomly selected using this method on or around 10/02/23. The decision will be final and Three will not enter into any correspondence. 

Contacting the winners

  1. Three shall notify the winners of the Prize from 14/02/23 via a push notification. Eligible Entrants should check the status of their push notifications and ensure they are turned on in order to receive this communication. Permissions may be changed at any point by visiting your personal details in the app. In any event, winners will not need to actively claim their Prize as it will be automatically added to their account.

Fulfilment of your Prize

  1. The winners will not be required to actively acknowledge or claim their Prize as it will be automatically added to their account. Three shall use reasonable endeavours, subject to these terms and conditions, to fulfil the Prize before the end of February.

Privacy

  1. An Eligible Entrant’s unique app identification number (“Party ID”) will automatically be collected when entering the Prize Draw. No other personal information will be collected. Winners will be selected from their Party IDs and the mobile phone number associated with the winner Party IDs will be used in order to contact the winners by push notification (provided the correct permissions have been given). Any personal data collected by Three in connection with this Prize Draw will be used to administer and fulfil this Prize Draw only.  For further information on Three’s Privacy Policy, see www.three.co.uk/terms-conditions/privacy-and-cookies/your-privacy.
  1. The winner(s) of the January Prize Draw may be asked follow up push (provided permissions are activated) to complete a short survey or provide some feedback to be used in any Three marketing activity across some or all of media channels.
  1. The surname and county of the winner can be obtained by sending an email to My3App@three.co.uk (reference: January Prize Draw) within 30 days after the date of the closing date of the Prize Draw. If you object to this information being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

General:

  1. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable. No cash alternatives will be offered. Three reserves the right at any time to substitute the Prize for an alternative prize of similar or greater value where circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so. Further, we reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions (including altering the Prize) at any time without notice by updating these terms and conditions and publishing them at www.three.co.uk/terms-conditions. No communications will be entered into by Three regarding this. This Prize Draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  1. This Prize Draw is in no way endorsed by, sponsored by, associated with or administered by any third parties.
  1. Three cannot accept responsibility for entries lost, corrupted, or delayed in transmission or for the failure by any winner to receive a push notification if they have not given the correct permissions. Under no circumstances will Three (or its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies) be liable (unless such liability cannot be lawfully excluded) for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the Prize Draw or the Prize (or any aspects of them), and Three excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage caused to a winner of the Prize arising out of or connected to the Prize or this Prize Draw. Statutory rights are not affected.
