Three+ Let’s Get Lyrical Game Terms Nov & Dec 2023

(the “Game”)

These terms and conditions are the rules which apply to this Game.  By playing this Game, participants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by them.  Please do not play if you cannot or do not want to agree.

1.           Promoter

1.1         This Game is organised and run by Hutchison 3G UK Limited, trading as Three of Green Park, 450 Longwater Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, RG30 3UR (“Three” or “We”) and the Prize for taking part (as defined at paragraph 5 below) is administered and provided by Three.  The Gig Giveaway (as described in paragraph 6 below) is provided and fulfilled by ASM Global, acting through SMG (UK) Ltd & SMG Europe Holdings Ltd: Manchester Arena, Hunts Bank, Manchester M3 1AR (“ASM”).

2.           Dates, Timing & Venue

2.1         This Game will be available to play from doors opening until the end of the support act (or until the start of the main act where no supporting act is present) at (i) AO Arena Manchester Block 119; and (ii) First Direct Arena Leeds, Level 1 (concourse ahead from main entrance) on the following dates:

3.           Eligibility

3.1         Participants can be of any age and do not have to be a Three customer to play.

4.           The Rules of the Game

• Participants are permitted 1 (one) play of the Game each.
• There is a time cap of 30 seconds to answer 5 (five) questions correctly.
• If an answer is incorrect, the Game will continue to offer questions until the time is up.
• Answer each question on the iPad by filling in the blank lyric from a choice of 4 (four).
• Participants must choose one option before moving to the next question.
• The first 200 participants to play will each win 1 (one ) “Prize” (see below).
• It is not necessary to answer 5 (five) correct questions to be eligible for a Prize.

5.           The Prize

5.1         Participants may enjoy access to one mixed bag of specially curated sweets (approx. 70g) each (the “Prize”) for taking part, subject to availability of product on the day. There will be a maximum of 200 Prizes to be given away on each date the Game is played – the first 200 to play will be eligible.

6.           The Gig Giveaway

6.1         In addition, on each date set out in paragraph 2 above, the 10^th participant to answer 5 (five) questions correctly in 30 seconds or less (the “Gig Winner”) will be offered tickets for themself and three friends to attend a gig of their choice at one of 5 (five) possible venues, being: AO Arena Manchester, First Direct Arena Leeds, Connexin Live Hull, P&J Live Aberdeen or Utilita Arena Newcastle (the “Gig Giveaway”). 

6.2         The Gig Winner will be immediately identified by a representative of Three upon successful completion of the final question and will be invited to share their first and last name and email address to be sent a confirmatory email with next steps to claim their tickets.  The Gig Winner must accept the Gig Giveaway within the timescale set out in the email or else they will be deemed to have rejected it.  Please ensure to check junk mail.  Three shall not be liable in the event incorrect contact details are given, if the Gig Winner fails to check their emails or does not respond in time.  Upon acceptance of the Gig Giveaway, the Gig Winner’s details will be passed to ASM who will contact them to arrange booking and fulfilment.

6.3         No travel or miscellaneous costs are included in the Gig Giveaway and the Gig Winner must ensure that they and their guests are free and available to travel on their selected date.  No alternative will be offered if the Gig Winner or their guest(s) are later unavailable on the chosen date once booked. Choice of event is subject to availability at the time of booking.  The Gig Giveaway must be redeemed in full within 12 months of winning.

6.4         The Gig Giveaway is personal to the Gig Winner & cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged.  No cash alternative.  Neither Three nor ASM shall be liable for any gig/event time, date or venue change, postponement or cancellation.  Age or entry restrictions may apply; please ensure to check carefully before booking or attending the event as this is the responsibility of the Gig Winner.  Enjoyment of the event will be subject to ASM’s terms and conditions: www.firstdirectarena.com/home/terms-conditions.

6.5         The surname and county of the Gig Winner may be obtained by sending an email to threeplus@three.co.uk: Ref: ASM Sponsorships Let’s Get Lyrical within one month after the Game has taken place on the relevant date.  If you as the Gig Winner object to this information being published or made available, please let us know upon acceptance of the tickets.  In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7.           General

7.1         The Prize is subject to availability to the first 200 participants on a first come, first served basis.  Play of the Game does not guarantee access to a Prize.  The Game may continue to be offered, at the discretion of Three, once all Prizes have been given away and if so, Participants shall be advised of this status at the time. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable.  No cash alternatives will be offered.  Three reserves the right at any time to substitute the whole or any part of the Prize for an alternative of similar or greater value where circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so.

7.2         We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions (including altering the Prize) at any time without notice by updating these terms and conditions and publishing them at three.co.uk/terms-conditions.

7.3         Three does not make any promise, warranty or guarantee in respect of the Prize and it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure the Prize is suitable for their use or consumption.  Please ensure to check the label prior to consumption.

7.4         The Game, the Prize and the Gig Giveaway is offered on an “as is”  and “as available basis” and Three makes no representation, warranty or guarantee that the Game, the network, the Prize or the Gig Giveaway will always be available or fault-free or be uninterrupted.  Under no circumstances will Three (or its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies) be liable (unless such liability cannot be lawfully excluded) for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the Game, the Prize or the Gig Giveaway (or any aspects of them), and Three excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage caused to a participant of the Game arising out of or connected to the Game, the Prize or the Gig Giveaway. Statutory rights are not affected.

7.5         Participation in this Game signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions.  These terms are governed by English law.
