Three Student Fair – Festival Tickets 2024 - Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
Terms and conditions
(the “Prize Draw”)
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are the rules which apply to this Prize Draw. By submitting an entry, entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by them.
Promoter
1. This Prize Draw is organised by Hutchison 3G UK Limited, trading as Three of Green Park, 450 Longwater Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, RG30 3UR (“Three” or “We”). The Prize (as defined at paragraph 6 below) is administered and provided by Three in partnership with Live Nation (Music) UK Limited of 30 St John Street, London, EC1M 4AY (“Live Nation”).
Dates
2. This Prize Draw shall take place at the following student fair events on the applicable dates:
o Cardiff University – 30th January 2024
o Manchester Metropolitan University – 31st January 2024
o Liverpool University – 2nd February 2024
o Sheffield University – 5th February 2024
o Loughborough – 10th February 2024
each a “Student Fair”.
The Prize Draw opens at 10:00 on the day of the relevant Student Fair and closes at 16:00 that same day (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
3. To be eligible to enter the Prize Draw, entrants must be over 18 years of age and a UK resident and a student of the university where the relevant Student Fair is taking place (“Eligible Entrants”). Entrants may be required to provide photographic ID to prove their eligibility. This Prize Draw is not open to employees of Three, its agents, contractors, consultants, or anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw.
Entry
4. To enter the Prize Draw, Eligible Entrants must enter their first name, last name and email address (“Student Details”) into an iPad which will be provided at the Three stand by a Three “Brand Ambassador” at the applicable Student Fair or scan the QR code on the Three stand. The Student Details captured will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw and used to administer, manage and fulfil the Prize (as defined at paragraph 6 below). See paragraph 14 below for further details on how We manage your data.
Rules
5. The following rules shall also apply to the Prize Draw:
a. Only one entry per Eligible Entrant will be considered by Three and entered into the Prize Draw.
b. Late entries will not be taken into consideration in winner selection.
c. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
d. Each winner (and their guest) must make themselves available on the relevant dates to enjoy the Prize and no substitute or alternative will be made available if this is not possible.
e. Each Eligible Entrant warrants that all information submitted by them is true, accurate and complete and Three is not responsible for any information which is invalid or incomplete.
f. Three reserves the right to exclude and/or disqualify any entry which it deems, in its sole and absolute discretion: (i) to be offensive or inappropriate; (ii) fails to comply with these Terms; and/or (iii) to be contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.
Prize
6. The “Prize” is as follows:
1 pair (2) of General Admission tickets to an Event (as defined below) to be won per Student Event (5 pairs in total). Winners can choose from one of the following 2024 Live Nation UK festivals (the “Event”):
- Parklife, Manchester (8-9 June 2024)
- Isle of Wight Festival (20-23rd June 2024)
- TRNSMT, Glasgow (12-14th July 2024)
- Wireless Festival, London (12-14th July 2024)
- Latitude Festival, Suffolk (25-28th July 2024)
- Reading Festival (21-25th August 2024)
- Leeds Festival (21-25th August 2024)
No accommodation, travel or miscellaneous costs are included in this Prize.
Only one pair of tickets per winner will be awarded (1 winner per Student Event). Three and Live Nation reserve their rights to substitute any element of the Prize at any time should circumstances beyond their reasonable control require them to do so.
7. By entering this Prize Draw, each Eligible Entrant confirms that they and their guest are and will be: (i) available; and (ii) eligible to travel to and from the Event; (iii) over 18 at the time of the Event; and (iv) are able to make their own arrangements for travel & accommodation. Please note: the winner & their guest will need to arrange their own transport to and from the Event.
8. The dates and timings of the Event may be subject to change. Use of any tickets or access to any venue owned or controlled by Live Nation as part of the Prize is subject to Live Nation’s ticketing rules and regulations from time to time. Please ensure you check these from time to time and in any event, prior to your attendance at the Event.
Selection of winner
9. The winner will be randomly selected by a computer process, from all Eligible Entries approx. 2 days after the final Student Fair has taken place. The decision will be final and Three will not enter into any correspondence.
Contacting the winners
10. Reasonable efforts will be made by Three to contact the winner of the Prize by email 1-2 days after they have picked the email address provided by the Eligible Entrant upon entry. Eligible Entrants should check their email accounts (and particular junk mail) approx. 5 days after the relevant Student Fair at which the Eligible Entrant entered the Prize Draw' to enable Three to contact them in this way. Three shall not be responsible in the event a winner does not claim the Prize because they have failed to follow these instructions. If the winner of the Prize cannot be successfully contacted, does not claim the Prize within 7 days of notification (by responding to Three as directed), or is unable to comply with these Terms, Three reserves the right to offer the relevant Prize to another Eligible Entrant (who will be selected in the same manner described in paragraph 9). Failure to respond or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
Redeeming the Prize
11. The winner of the Prize will be required to provide a valid email to receive their Prize. The winner may also be required to submit additional valid identification before receiving the Prize.
12. Unless otherwise advised at a later date, the winner will receive the Prize by digital ticket to their email address submitted upon entry of the Prize Draw approximately 7-10 days prior to the date of the chosen Event.
13. The winner warrants that all information submitted by them is true, accurate and complete and Three is not responsible for any information which is invalid or incomplete, including any contact details. Should the winner have any queries, please contact us using the email address your prize-winning notification was sent from.
Privacy
14. Three operates as a controller in respect of any personal data that entrants supply when entering this Prize Draw. Three shall use such personal data for the purpose of administering and fulfilling this Prize Draw only in accordance with these terms and Three’s Privacy Policy (available at www.three.co.uk/privacy_safety/privacy_policies).
15. The winner of the Prize agrees to cooperate with any reasonable requests made by Three relating to any post-winning promotional activity (such as including their first name and entry being used in any, and all, Three marketing activity across all media). Three is required to publish or make available information to show that a valid award took place under this Prize Draw. To comply with this, Three will send the surname and county of major prize winners (and, if applicable, copies of their winning entries) to any person who emails threeplus@three.co.uk with the reference: Student Fair Prize Draw/Festival Tickets/Sponsorship Team within one month of the closing date. If you are a winner of this Prize Draw and object to any or all of these details being published or made available, please confirm this when you respond to claim your Prize. In such circumstances, Three must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested.
General
16. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable. No cash alternatives will be offered. If the winner is not available or eligible for the whole or any part of the Prize, for any reason, no alternative will be offered. Three reserves the right at any time to substitute the whole or any part of the Prize for an alternative of similar or greater value where circumstances beyond Three’s control makes it necessary to do so. All costs and expenses not included in the Prize are the responsibility of the winner (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any costs connected with the winner’s eligibility to travel). Further, We reserve the right to amend these Terms (including altering the Prize) at any time without notice by updating these Terms and publishing them at three.co.uk/terms. No communications will be entered into by Three regarding this. No purchase is necessary to enter this Prize Draw, however an internet connection is required.
17. All third-party terms and conditions relating to the Prize Draw or the Prize itself (such as Live Nation’s terms of entry) are beyond Three’s control. Three cannot accept responsibility and will not be liable for any failures to abide by any or all third-party terms applicable to the Prize.
18. Three cannot accept responsibility for entries lost, corrupted, or delayed in transmission or for the failure by any winner to check their emails (including junk folder). Under no circumstances will Three (or its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies) be liable (unless such liability cannot be lawfully excluded) for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the Prize Draw or the Prize (or any aspects of them), and Three excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage caused to a winner of the Prize arising out of or connected to the Prize or this Prize Draw. Statutory rights are not affected.
19. Entry into the Prize Draw signifies your acceptance of these Terms . These Terms are governed by English law.
