3Charging Terms and Conditions

Terms of Use

The following set out the terms of supply for portable chargers available for hire at 3Charging at the following Festivals during the Summer of 2023: Parklife, Wireless, TRNSMT, Latitude, Reading (the “Festivals”):

  1. “3Charging” is an on-site kiosk located at the Festivals, sponsored by Hutchison 3G UK Limited (trading as “Three”) of 450 Longwater Avenue, Green Park, Reading, RG2 6GF and branded as “Three”, but managed and run by Festival Connections Limited, trading as “Charge Candy” (27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX).
  2. Portable chargers (the “Chargers”) are available for hire from 3Charging and are provided by Charge Candy. Any and all payments taken shall be made to Charge Candy (or their authorized payment provider).
  3. The hire of Chargers is subject to availability.  Chargers are for personal use only.
  4. All Festival attendees are eligible to hire the Chargers, no requirement to be a customer of Three.
  5. Costs for this service are as follows:
     

Deposit: £10 per charger, refundable upon return of charger to 3Charging

On Site Hire Fees: Costs may vary from Festival to Festival and will be dependent on how many days hire is required.  Check on-site a 3Charging kiosk for Charge Candy’s costs menu

  1. Payment must be made by valid debit/credit card.  No cash accepted.
  2. Customer is entitled to one (1) Charger swap per day if hiring Charger over several days.
  3. At the end of the Festival, return the Charger to any 3Charging kiosk, present the card you paid with and collect your deposit from Charge Candy.
  4. Three+ Members are eligible for a 50% discount on hire fees (but not the deposit) via the relevant Three+ app offer. Save code from the relevant offer and show code at point of purchase to redeem.
  5. Customers will need a wire to attach the Charger to their phone. Use your own wire or obtain one free of charge at 3Charging (subject to availability).
  6. Neither Three nor Charge Candy represent, warrant, undertake or guarantee that Chargers will always be available for hire or fault-free or that they will provide uninterrupted use, and to the fullest extent permitted at law, any use of and access to them is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Neither Three nor Charge Candy shall be liable for any reason if the relevant Charger is unavailable for any period.
  7. For any Charger issues whilst on-site, please go to the 3Charging kiosk from which you made your hire.
