An authorised contact is someone who can access your account as a secondary contact. You can set up an authorised contact if, for example, you'd like your office Finance Administrator to be able to contact us to discuss billing.
If they need to call us to talk about the account or to make any changes, it'll be easier for us to help them if you've set them up as an authorised contact.
